Mayor & Cabinet | Leader & Cabinet | Committee System | Alternative Arrangements

Mayor & Cabinet: Voters elect a single-authority Mayor, who in turn appoints councillors to cabinet positions.

Leader & Cabinet: All members elect a leader, who in turn appoints councillors to cabinet positions.

Committee System: All members elect a leader. Group members appointed proportionally to policy committees. Disagreements moved to full council meetings.

Alternative Arrangements: Other locally agreed governance system with consent from Secretary of State.
